Video Calls in EduSystem is a lesson activity: the call opens right in the student's account, next to the rest of the course materials. It runs on Jitsi Meet, an open-source video conferencing platform, deployed on EduSystem's own server rather than a public one. That means meetings have no time limits, and the number of participants depends only on server capacity. Everything a class needs is built into the call: screen sharing, a shared whiteboard, breakout rooms, polls, chat, a lobby and recording. Calls are enabled with the Integrated Video Calls add-on for $10 a month on any plan.
The call is part of the lesson, not an external linkStudents join from their own account instead of digging through emails and messengers.
Our own serverMeetings don't cut off after a few minutes like on free public servers, and participant numbers depend only on server capacity.

How it works
1
Enable the add-on
Integrated Video Calls is available on any plan.
2
Add a Video Call activity to a lesson
It sits in the course alongside tests, videos and other tasks.
3
The student sees the call in their account
No activity in the lesson means no call for the student — access follows your course structure.
4
One-click join
No Zoom links, separate accounts or software to install.
5
Run the session
Whiteboard, breakout rooms, polls, screen sharing — all inside the call.
6
Keep the recording
Download the file after the lesson, or arrange cloud storage with us.
Why us
Our team is always nearby
We'll set up calls for your format: which features to enable, who moderates, whether to record.
Need a custom scenario? We'll build it
Scheduling, automated reminders, custom access logic — developed for your use case.
We'll help design your program
We'll suggest where a live call adds value in your course and where recorded video is enough.
More than a single tool
Website, CRM, AI assistant, automation — we cover the whole stack, not just video.
Working in Zoom or Google Meet? We use Jitsi, but if Zoom or Google Meet is what you're used to, we'll help you connect them too.
Pricing
Video calls are enabled with the Integrated Video Calls add-on — $10/mo on any plan, from Free to Enterprise. The add-on can also be part of the personal bonus for new partners — see the pricing page for current terms.
No. The call opens right in the student's account on the platform — no software to install and no third-party account. On a phone, students can join via the browser or the Jitsi Meet app.
The only limit is our server's capacity, not your plan. For large meetings there's viewer mode: everyone watches, while only the host and selected participants speak.
Yes. By default the recording is saved locally to the host's computer. Cloud storage for recordings can be set up on request.
No. The platform's main tool is Jitsi, built into the student account, but if Zoom or Google Meet suits you better, we'll help you connect them too.
The call is built into the course: students join from the account where their lessons and tasks live, instead of hunting for a link in a messenger. To be honest about the trade-offs: Jitsi's whiteboard is simpler than in dedicated virtual classrooms like BigBlueButton. If advanced presentation and whiteboard work is critical for you, let's talk about how to solve it.
